MV ODYSSEY - OPEN DAY
Over the weekend of 28-29 January 2012 Odyssey Expeditions will berth their custum built 24m vessel, the MV Odyssey, adjacent to the bascule bridge at Sorrento Quay Boardwalk.

AUSTRALASIAN SAFARI AT HILLARYS BOAT HARBOUR
Western Australia will again play to the Australasian Safari 2011, frequently referred to as Australia’s version of ‘Paris to Dakar’.
The route for 2011 will take Australasian Safari competitors, crew, media and supporters from Hillarys Boat Harbour on Thursday 22nd September and then overnight stops in Geraldton (Friday 23rd September), Mount Magnet (Saturday 24th September), Sandstone (Sunday 25th September), two nights in Laverton (Monday 26th / Tuesday 27th September), two nights in Leonora (Wednesday 28th / Thursday 29th September) and finishing in Kalgoorlie on Friday 30th September.

WA'S BEST BOAT SHOW RETURNS TO SORRENTO QUAY BOARDWALK
2011 will mark the 19th anniversary of the popular boat show and with new displays on both land and water, there is much to celebrate.
Recognised as one of WA's most family friendly boat show, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Karl Langdon former West Coast Eagles hero and 6PR radio personality, will be Master of Ceremonies on the Honda stage and there will be on site entertainment.

COMING SOON - NATIONAL VETERAN CAR DISPLAY
As part of the National Veteran Vehicle One and Two Cylinder Tour being held in the Swan Valley in April 2010, these rare vehicles will be driving to Sorrento Quay on Tuesday, 13 April 2010.
The cars will be on display in the Southern car park from 11.30am to 2.30pm. 35 of the 45 vehicles entered are over 100 years old.

We have received formal approval for the redevelopment of the ex-Breakwater Tavern Premises. The redevelopment will consist of some 14 new tenancies including malls, cafes, restaurants and speciality stores of which nearly 50% is leased.

LANDSCAPE UPGRADE - UPDATE
We are pleased to advise that the landscape upgrade is coming to a close with the majority of the beach area and landscaping open for public use from 1 October 2009.
The upgrade consists of improved public amenities including BBQ's, new shade structures, mature trees for shade and a new events platform between the 2 beaches.
